Betty Boop's Bamboo Isle (1932) After a short live hula act by The Royal Samoans, the cartoon has Bimbo out on the ocean in a motorboat, where he eventually crashes on an island with the lovely native girl, Betty Boop! Pretending to be a native, including smearing dirt on his face, Bimbo fits in with the natives (racist stereotypes) until the rain washes the dirt away!
