After we smoothed that into the tin, we sprinkled the extra sugar-cocoa mixture and then poured in boiling water — yep, that’s how you get the magic sauce underneath! We baked it at 350°F (≈ 175°C UK equivalent) for about 30 minutes until the top was set and the sauce was bubbling. Then came the best bit: scoops of fresh vanilla ice cream on top for the ultimate contrast.
