Trying My Berger 109 LRHT At 500 Yards For The First Time!

Now that I got a powder charge, let's take these 109 Berger LRHT projectiles out to 500 yards and see how they perform!
I adjusted my zero on my scope to match the impact point of the charge weight I selected.
Then went out on a cold and windy day to see how these do for me at 500 yards.
As you can see, I got all hits!
I am going to take this as a good sign. I should be all set to load up a batch for my match this coming Sunday!!
I was concerned I may need to tweak some in my Kestrel, but it put me right on target for some impacts from the first shot!!
Applied Ballistics really has it down with their Custom Drag Models. If you use a Kestrel and have that option for your chosen projectile, give it a try. I have had very good luck with it.

I don't know what else to really try here. I think I got on with this new projectile and found the right powder charge from the start.
If you see anything else I should try, let me know. But if not, I am going to proceed with the thought that I am done testing, lol.

Now to load up 100 and get ready for my match!!
