Mrs. Homeworld is back in the kitchen continuing her holiday meal prep for both Thanksgiving and Christmas — and today she’s making easy homemade dinner rolls and two kinds of pie crusts you can prep ahead of time and freeze for later!

These freezer-friendly recipes make holiday cooking so much easier. She prepares 3 trays of dinner rolls (two regular and one large) and four pie crusts — three standard and one “heavy duty” crust for rich pies like pecan or deep dish apple. Each is labeled with baking instructions so when the big day comes, she can just thaw, bake, and serve fresh!

Easy Dinner Roll Recipe:
• 1 cup warm water
• 1 TBSP yeast
• ½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
• ½ cup sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 TSP salt
• 4 to 4½ cups of flour

Regular Pie Crust Recipe:
• 3 cups flour
• 1 TSP salt
• 1 TSP baking soda
• 1 cup cold butter (or your favorite fat)
• 1 cup (scant) water

Heavy Duty Pie Crust Recipe:
• 1¼ cups flour
• 1 TSP sugar
• ⅛ TSP salt
• ½ cup cold butter, diced
• 1 large egg, beaten lightly
• Extra flour for rolling dough

As always, her focus is on making things easier and stress-free during the holidays — so she can spend less time cooking and more time enjoying fellowship with family and friends.

📖 Bible Verse:
“If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.” — 2 Thessalonians 3:10
