Why Am I So Weak?

"Weakness comes for a reason"

Deuteronomy 8:3 ~
"And He humbled you, and suffered you to hunger, and fed you with Manna, which you knew not, neither did your Fathers know; that He might make you know that man DOES NOT LIVE by bread only, but by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of the Mouth of the LORD does (hu)man(s) Live."

Matthew 4:4 ~
"But He answered and said, 'It is written, Man SHALL NOT LIVE by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of the Mouth of God."

The three FUN-DAMENTALS

"As goes the Body, so goes the Soul"
"Avoid the 'All or nothing' trap. Instead, embrace the idea that: 'There's room for improvement.'"

EAT WELL ~ What goes in becomes a part of you.

REST WELL ~ Even God rested. 1/3 of your Life.

EXERCISE WELL ~ Function brings Life and strength.

"The Bible actually teaches this 3-fold principle. Righteousness. Peace (wholeness). Joy in the Holy Ghost.

Romans 14:17 ~
"For the Kingdom of God is not meat (food) and drink; but Righteousness, and Peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost."
God doesn't place a demand on the amount of time you spend with Him. Only that you come to Him. The reason He does this so that no one can say they don't have enough time. It would be one thing for God to say "You must spend 3 hours a day with Me" Then we would be in direct disobedience if we didn't do it.
The only time we find Him saying anything about an amount of time, was to the disciples, when Jesus Homself was suffering in the Garden. He simply made a statement to them that wasn't based on a requirement but an observation. "Can't you even spend an hour with Me?"

In other words, out of the 24 hours a day you have, it would be completely reasonable to devote one hour to Him. But even then, He doesn't require that. We tend to think 15 minutes with God wouldn't matter. Or 5 minutes. Or even one minute. But it actually does. And that bothers us. Because we want to believe what we keep telling ourself, "I just don't have time."
But I actually do have time. And we know we do.
We have time. We don't Just don't have the will.

Take time.
Make time.
Make this a priority.

We take time to do what we feel is most important. Make this thing more important.
Time is a resource. Just like our money. As a matter of fact, we trade time for money. And then we spend our money on things we deem our most important. So it can be said accurately, we spend our time on what we deem as most important.

Why is prayer, and the Word of God, not as important to us as it is to God?

Remember this: "Prayer is not getting stuff.
Prayer is getting God himself."
