I decided to experiment with my garlic by using a water growing method to see if they could be started early before planting. I've lost garlic in the past due to bulbs rotting in cold, damp soil, before they've even rooted. This method encourages strong roots and shoots before they are planted. Using the polytunnel should ensure my garlic crop stays warmer and healthier throughout the cold seasons!
