The Unique Pennsylvania Dutch Shoo Fly Pie

I've made several Shoo Fly Pie recipes and this one has become my favorite wet bottom version of this Amish pie!
Shoo Fly Pie Recipe:
1 9-inch Deep Dish Pie Crust, par-baked
1/2 cup Molasses
1/2 cup Firmly Packed Light Brown Sugar
1 1/2 Tsp Flour
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Large Egg
1 Cup Boiling Water
Crumbles for the top:
1 1/2 Cup Flour
3/4 Cup Firmly Packed Light Brown Sugar
6 TBSP Cold Butter
Egg for brushing pie crust
Par bake pie crust and let cool. Brush pie crust with egg.
Make the syrupy mixture and let completely cool.
Mix the crumbles and place on top of pie.
Bake pie in a 350F oven on the center rack for 45-55 minutes, or until the center is puffed and only slightly jiggly.
