The CFIA update claims the Universal Ostrich Farm is still an infected place.

So if it's infected, why did they slaughter all those birds in the open with guns, leaving the carcasses where rats, owls, crows, foxes, racoons, & carrion birds could interact & eat the ostriches?

Why were vehicles and staff allowed to come and go from the property without properly disinfecting their vehicles?

How many of the CFIA staff, RCMP & those transporting material to and from the farm were tested since clearly PPE was not being properly used?

All of this should be asked at an Agriculture and Agri-Food committee with a CFIA member present, Katie or Karen & the Minister in charge of the CFIA.
