Remembrance Day 2025

On Remembrance Day, we remember the soldiers who fell in WWI, WWII, and all conflicts. But how should we remember them? I was fortunate to learn this firsthand as a teenager, listening to veterans of the First World War in a Montreal tavern.
This video is a personal reflection on those men, their humility, and a urgent reminder that the freedoms they fought for require our constant vigilance to protect today.
As we mark the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we must remember that their fight was for our freedom. That freedom, as recent events in Edgewood, BC, show us, is fragile. This is a story about the past with a urgent message for the present.
