Mexico deploys forces to Michoacan in crackdown on criminal groups

Mexican soldiers and National Guard members were deployed to the central state of Michoacan to reinforce security measures as part of the government's Michoacan Plan for Peace and Justice, an operation aimed at cracking down on criminal groups, combating extortion, and dismantling drug laboratories and training camps in the region, officials said on Monday (November 10).
