“Taha – Light from Under the Rubble” is a survival song dedicated to a 2-year-old Palestinian boy whose home was hit twice, leaving him trapped under rubble, suffocated and severely injured. His mother, injured herself, dragged him out from the ruins with her last strength.

Taha is now in Egypt receiving medical care, living with brain damage and an inability to speak after the bombing and lack of oxygen. He is one of many children I’m helping to sponsor for treatment. This song is for Taha and every Palestinian child living through genocide under Zionist occupation.

The lyrics speak about:
🔥 Bombs falling with precision on homes and hospitals
🔥 Mothers crawling out of rubble to save their children
🔥 Zionist occupation, ethnic cleansing, and state terrorism
🔥 Complicit silence from neighbouring regimes and the wider world
🔥 The belief that Allah hears the cries of the oppressed and that justice will come in this world and the next
🎤 Style: dark conscious rap / spoken word, a cappella with human beatbox only, Scottish male vocal (DJ Sammy Hegab) and angelic female Arabic vocals.

I am using my music to raise awareness and support Palestinians in Gaza and those evacuated to Egypt for medical treatment. If you want to help with treatment costs, rehab, and basic needs, contact me directly or leave a comment, and I’ll reach out, insha’Allah.

🕊️ Free Palestine. Allah is Witness.
