Reflect on the power of the Scripture found in the Bible, as you meditate on Psalm 34. Let the words fill you with faith and renew your sense of hope, as you engage in prayer and connect with Jesus Christ.

Catholic Daily Readings and Reflection | Memorial of Saint Martin of Tours, Bishop | November 11, 2025

Today is Veterans Day, and we celebrate Saint Martin of Tours, a Roman soldier who became a bishop. Jesus tells a parable nobody likes. When you've done everything commanded, say we are unworthy servants, we have done what we were obliged to do. Your best obedience doesn't earn special recognition. You're servants who did what servants do. Any reward beyond that is pure grace.
