*Before Break ever chose someone of darkness, someone who had caused much suffering and harm, to be cursed to forever feel that harm, experience that suffering, and then be driven by a perpetual need to eliminate all other darkness to make sure no one ever suffered again, he took someone of such purity and good and tried to make her his Champion of the Light. She was Levus, a sweet child Break used much magic to draw to his side, before he gave her training and some of his own strength so that she could protect others from evil. Break truly thought Levus was of such goodness she could never be corrupted but Gather found her, gathered her, and showed her the futility of ever fighting the dark if it was truly endless and always returning. Gather turned Levus into Gravus, his terrible weapon that was forevermore at his side and imbued with his strength, greater than anything Break ever gave to her, so she could become an unstoppable force always willing to kill anything because Gravus now saw the truth, the reality, that life is only the darkness and why fight that when you can be rewarded for serving it.
