You cannot outrun God
Jonah 3:5 “The Ninevites believed God.”
Acts 2:37 “When the people heard this they were cut to the heart…”
Jonah 3:6 “When Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust.”
Jonah resented the fact that God loved Nineveh,
Jonah 4:11 “And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left…”
1 Timothy 2:3 “wants all people to be saved and come to knowledge of the truth…”
Are you afraid?
Luke 5:10 “…Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people”
Are you Apathetic or indifferent attitude?
Romans 13:11 “And do this, understanding the present time:The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation nearer now then when we first believed.”
I do not know enough.
2 Peter 3:18 “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.”
Is fishing for men is just for our staff?
I Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who call you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.”
Mark 1:17“Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
We are to be out on the lake—not tied to the dock.
Jesus wants the opportunity to change them.
What changes people! — Grace. Mercy. Unconditional Love
