What REALLY Happened in That Haunted Rental House

When I was 20, my friends and I rented a cheap house near our university. The landlord said he gave us a discount because we were students. At first, everything seemed normal — until the third week. One night, my friends suggested we play Spirit of the Coin, a local version of the Ouija board. We laughed at first, but when the coin started moving, everything changed.

We asked for a name, and it spelled Ahmad. When we asked how he died, the coin slowly moved to spell MURDERED. Moments later, one of my friends screamed — his voice wasn’t his own. We rushed him to the mosque, and only there did the screams stop. The next morning, we brought an Ustaz to the house. After reciting prayers, he told us to leave immediately.

Later, when we asked the landlord what really happened, he told us the truth — a man named Ahmad was murdered in that house 10 years ago, and the police never caught the culprits. Since then, every tenant reported strange noises, shadows, and sleepless nights. That’s why the rent was so low.

We left the house that same day. It’s been seven years, but I still can’t forget what happened in that house. Sometimes, when I pass that street, I still feel like Ahmad never left.
