The Master Is Paying Attention – Psalms 28+29

Remember Job's wife? After enduring so much pain and suffering, she was incredulous that Job maintained his integrity and faith. She told him to "curse God and die" (Job 2:9). We know that Job did no such thing. In our humanity we could forgive Job if he had taken his wife's advice. But the fact that he didn't is a testament to his faith.

Sometimes it seems like God isn't listening; that he isn't paying attention to his people. But what seems to be the case does not line up with reality. As we will see in today's text, God is paying attention. He is the master of his creation; a good master who looks out for his own. Do you believe that?
