STORY #1 - LOW OVER THE FIELD
Coming in first is a very disturbing story about a man driving home from a night shift in central Illinois during a violent thunderstorm. During his hour-long commute, he comes to a wrecked semi truck which is blocking his usual freeway interchange. After using the GPS on his phone, he is rerouted onto a very rural road to get around the accident. This road happens to go through a wind farm with huge turbines and each time the lightning flashes, he sees a clearer and clearer view of something in the sky that he can't explain.

STORY #2 - A RECURRING REFLECTION
Our second creepy encounter comes to us from a woman in Michigan who is spending the weekend with a large group of friends for a bachelorette party in South Haven. They have a huge, lakefront rental house filled with food and drinks. One night, before they're going to watch a movie, she runs out to a circle of beach chairs alone to get her hoodie that she had forgotten, when she sees something she almost can't describe hovering above the water and just off-shore. This only lasts seconds and she mostly dismisses it. The reality of what she saw doesn't hit her until days later when she's back at home. She begins to dream the night where she had run to the beach to get her hoodie, but strangely, her perspective is not from the beach, it's from above it and over the water.

STORY #3 - A SOUND ON THE BLUFF
The third terrifying tale this week is about two women who go out horseback riding in the Shawnee National Forest. Hours into an early morning ride, they hear an extremely disturbing scream in the woods. Thinking it is an animal suffering somewhere, and having a lifetime of experience with animals, they decide to look for it. After climbing up onto a bluff and following a separate trail, they stop where they think the screaming is coming from. Out of nowhere, their dog senses something just before they see a creature they can't comprehend cross the trail and vanish into the woods.
