Renown internist, cardiologist, and epidemiologist Dr. Peter McCulloughâ„¢ told the crew at Live from Studio 6B that the McCullough Foundation Report did not confirm maternal Tylenol use during pregnancy as a major risk factor for autism spectrum disorder years later in the child. Predisposing factors did include older parents, premature delivery, common genetic variants, and in utero exposure to neuropsychiatric drugs, while the proximal trigger for the rapid development of the post-encephalitic autism syndrome is routine combination childhood vaccination before age 4 years.
