Enjoy today's temperatures because the arctic blast is going to be knocking on the door. With a clipper and cold front passing, we'll see some scattered snow showers passing with only a Tr-1" of accumulation possible. Highs will be in the low-20s. The wind is going to be cranking up, and that will be ushering in the frigid air. It is going to get very cold on tonight, and it's going to be windy. With overnight lows of -10° or colder, our wind chills will plummet to -20 to -35° through the night. Wind Chill Advisories go into effect at 6PM tonight and last until noon Friday. We will struggle to hit 0° on Friday. Morning wind chills will start at -20 to -35°, but will stay well below zero right through the afternoon. FRIGID temps continue through the weekend with temps running 20-30° below normal, barely making it through the single digits. Another storm arrives on Monday & it could be a significant snow maker. Stay tuned!! A bitterly cold blast of air will move in behind that system that could last until next weekend. Could be the coldest air mass in 6 years +
