Perhaps the most difficult task is following Christ's example of compassionate prayer: to pray for those who are our enemies or those we believe deserve punishment. Even amid our agony or watching others suffer or make ungodly choices, we should be concerned for them and ask God to forgive them. This is how we honor Jesus who prayed a prayer of mercy and love over us when we deserved death (Luke 23:34). Watch and consider:
