Proverbs 24:14–34 Explained, KJV, Rightly Dividing — God’s Offering

In this study of Proverbs 24:14–34, we trace how God offers wisdom with reward (v.14), calls the righteous to rise after falling (v.16), forbids gloating over an enemy (vv.17–18), and warns against envy of evildoers (vv.19–20). We walk through judgement without “respect of persons” (vv.23–26), honest speech (v.28), refusing retaliation (v.29), and the sober parable of the slothful field (vv.30–34). Along the way we look forward to Christ’s kingdom, the long view of eternity, and how love—not pride or payback—changes enemies and heals wounded hearts. This message is for anyone weary, overlooked, or written off: God has not given up on you. Rise again with Him.
