In Part 1 of BIG GOD: Faith to Change Nations, Johnny and Elizabeth share their raw, honest experiences of growing up in Christian families with familiar, yet unique challenges that viewers will relate to. Johnny, through a dysfunctional Christian cult experience, and Elizabeth, through the loss of her mother to cancer, were forced to find God in the midst of pain and contradiction. After they met and married in a church that eventually sued them for 24 million dollars, they went on to encounter a corrected perspective of God that allowed them to find a faith to change even nations.
