On October 23rd, just after 4:20 AM, an Arkansas officer spots a 1984 GMC Sierra flying down I-630 at 80 in a 60.
When he tries to catch up, the truck pushes 90 and suddenly exits, driving into neighborhoods at high speed and swerving all over the road.

The officer turns on lights and siren. The driver brake-checks him, jumps curbs, and keeps running.
On Cantrell, the officer performs a TVI, spinning the truck out.

The driver—identified as Vernon Jones—refuses commands, tries to escape again, then bails out on foot.
He’s caught, fights arrest, admits he’d been drinking, and refuses a chemical test.

The truck wasn’t his, had no insurance, and his license was suspended.
Jones is booked for fleeing, DWI, resisting, reckless driving, and more…
All over a simple traffic stop.
