Paul's Commendation of Phoebe - Romans 16:1-2

A woman named Phoebe is introduced as the one who delivered the letter to the Romans. This important task could not be entrusted to just anyone. She had to be a woman of great character and learning, since she would, most likely, be the one who would read and explain it to the various congregations around Rome.
