Dead Cells

Working and gaming. Dead Cells is a 2018 2D action-platformer that blends roguelike and Metroidvania elements, often called a "roguevania". Players control a failed alchemic experiment, the Prisoner, who must fight through a sprawling, ever-changing castle to defeat the King. The game is known for its challenging, fast-paced combat, permadeath, and a "play, die, learn" loop where players unlock new paths and abilities for future runs.
