"In 1980 in Imola, Giampaolo Bertozzi e Stefano Dal Monte Casoni founded the Bertozzi & Casoni society, that produces ceramic sculpture.:
The two founders are from Emilia Romagna, and they studied at the renowned Art Institute for Ceramics of Faenza and at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna. In the 1980s, they collaborated with the Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola and, since the 1990s, they have been exhibiting their works in the main museums and galleries of art and design in the world.
Their works are permanently exhibited in the Museo Bertozzi & Casoni at the Cavallerizza Ducale of Sassuolo and they are characterized by an exquisite technical mastery and by an hyperrealist interpretation of this art, which makes them unique."

La loro collaborazione è durata dal 1980, anno di fondazione della Bertozzi & Casoni con sede a Imola, al 2023, anno della morte di Casoni.
