Photos of the Ka-Bar knife sheath found at 1122 King Rd. — the one prosecutors say Bryan Kohberger left behind after the killings of four University of Idaho students in November 2022 — have been released. Investigators say the sheath was a crucial piece of evidence because Kohberger’s DNA was found on its snap, ultimately linking him to the crime. Newly released records show it was the only evidence police had in the early days of the investigation as they pursued a suspect who later turned out to be a dead end.
