Stop The Fear And Only Believe - Bind, Loose, Heal, Raise!

I think you'd agree, the world is getting crazier and crazier.  Prophecy and spiritual insight tell us why chaos increases when a move of God is near.

As power shifts and authority is being restored to the Church, the enemy fights back. Madmen surface. Political and judicial systems experience shaking.

This morning I speak plainly and prophetically: fear not. That phrase is not a casual suggestion. It is a command. It is a mandate for every believer who is ready to step into the authority Jesus restored to us. We've been in a Goshen season — a place of protection, preparation, and provision. Now God is saying, "Enough training. It is time to move." Stop the fear and only believe.  Stopping is up to you.  Believing is up to you. Both are on your side of the line.

Goshen: Protection, Preparation, Provision

Goshen was never meant to be permanent. It was given by God to preserve and prepare a people for the promised land. We've been in a spiritual Goshen — sheltered, taught, seasoned. That season strengthens us. God has been building our faith, giving us experiences and small victories so that we become accustomed to the power available to us.

I thank the Lord that He has kept us in this place to prepare us for the ascension of authority. The more we obey, the stronger we get. Ascension is progression: from one level of glory to another. Jesus ascended and restored all authority to the Church. That authority is already yours. The question is: will you start using it?

“Fear Not” — A Command, Not a Comfort Phrase

People often say the Bible tells us "fear not" 365 times. The exact count varies by translation — 103 times in the King James Version, 129 in the New King James, 66 in the New International Version, and 148 in the American Standard. The point is not the precise number. The point is the emphasis. God repeats this message so we pay attention and that  act on it.

Fear not is an instruction. It is the command of a Father who says, "I am with you wherever you go." When Jesus said it, He expected action. When God tells you to be bold and courageous, He has already provided the presence and power to back that command. Your part is to act.

The Two Forks of Faith: Ask vs. Act

In prayer and spiritual life there are two distinct forks in the road. This is a foundational teaching I repeat because it will change how you live. Discern which fork you're on:

The Fork of Asking: These are the things you cannot give yourself. You ask God for grace, favor, wisdom, insight. These are gifts from the throne room. Pray and ask — for what you don't have and cannot give yourself. God is the source.
The Fork of Doing: These are commands you are given to fulfill by faith. Jesus said, "Go heal the sick, Go cleanse the lepers, Go cast out demons, Go raise the dead." He did not say, "Beg God to do these things for you." He gave you authority and said, "Go."

Do not confuse the two. Pray for the gifts that come from God. But do not pray for God to do what He has already empowered you to do. When Jesus said "Go," He meant it. When He said "Be not afraid," He expected you to move.

Authority Restored — Start Small, Ascend Strong

All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Jesus and delegated to His body. That authority is practical and progressive. Start with small acts of faith. Start with a cold, a fever, a headache. When you obey in the small, God will increase your capacity for greater miracles — from hours to days to the dead raised. This is the pattern of ascension.

We learn to use power by using it. Baby steps in faith lead to greater steps. The enemy trembles when believers begin to obey. He will raise madmen and confusion because a move of God is about to break out. This is not a reason to fear; it is a sign the harvest is near.

John 10: The Good Shepherd, the Gate, and Protection

Listen to the words of Jesus in John 10. He speaks plainly about being the gate and the shepherd whose sheep recognize His voice. He contrasts the shepherd with the hired hand, the thief, and the wolf. The shepherd leads, protects, and lays down his life for the sheep. That same shepherd says:

I am the gate. Anyone who enters through me will be cared for. I came so they may have real and eternal life, more and better than they ever dreamed of.  They are protected from the Destroyer, no one can ever steal them out of My hand.

Jesus promises protection from the destroyer. He tells us: no one can snatch you out of my hand. That spiritual security is not a passive guarantee to be hoarded; it is a platform of confidence from which to move.

Jesus’ Model of Ascension: Water, Storms, Healing, Resurrection

There is a clear pattern in Jesus' ministry that teaches us how to ascend in authority:

First miracles over water — 1st He turned water into wine, then He calmed storms, finally  He walked on water. Then He has Peter walk on the water.  Each act demonstrates increasing mastery over the physical realm.
Then with healing — 1st with fevers, next cleansing lepers, then healing blindness with new eyes out of mud. These miracles train us to trust God's ascending restorative power given to us
Finally came death — 1st Jairus' daughter who was dead a few minutes, next came the widow's son at Nain who was dead a few hours, then came Lazarus, raised from the dead after 4 days.  Jesus demonstrated authority over death progressively: minutes, hours, days and then the crescendo: He himself went into the grave - dead and resurrected 3 days later - defeating it once and for all - giving that power to us..

This model instructs us plainly: begin where you are. Start with accessible acts of faith. As you obey, God will take you from strength to strength and from glory to glory height to higher height - ascending as you go!

Two Cases: Fear and Faith

Consider Jairus. He came and asked Jesus to lay hands on his daughter. En route, people told Jairus she had died. Jesus said to him, "Stop the fear. Only believe." That command falls squarely on Jairus' side. The miracle required Jairus to stop cowering and begin trusting. The same is true for us. Stop the fear. Only believe.

And consider the woman with the issue of blood. In the press of the crowd she touched the hem of His garment. Jesus stopped and asked, "Who touched me?" Her faith moved Him, even in a crowd thronging His presence. Two people’s faith turned the Master twice in the middle of a multitude.

Practical Steps: How to Start Moving in Authority
Stop the Fear. Recognize fear as a call to action, not a permanent state. Command fear to go and refuse to engage doubt.
Begin Small. Pray for a headache, a fever, a cold. Obey when God invites you to act.
Make Declarations. Use the words God has given you. We bind and loose by the immense authority Christ restored to us.
Persist. When a small miracle confirms your faith, move to the next level. Ascend.
Disciple Others. As you see results, lead others into faith. God rewards the faithful mover.

Remember: the Holy Spirit is within you. You are a king and a priest. Angels hearken to the king’s command. God is a respecter and a rewarder of faith. He honors obedience and boldness.

Prophetic Confirmation: Why the World Looks Crazy

Prophecy and spiritual insight tell us why chaos increases when a move of God is near. As power shifts and authority is being restored to the Church, the enemy fights back. Madmen surface. Political and judicial systems experience shaking. Yet shaking is not defeat — it is preparation. God uses judgment and shaking to reveal false structures and to bring righteous pruning.

Prophetic voices have been declaring that nations will be pruned. Systems that are rotten will be exposed so something new can be built. This is why the times may look darker before greater light breaks through. Do not be alarmed. God’s plan is to deliver and to vindicate His children. Stand firm in faith and continue to bind and loose.

Application: Binding, Loosing, and Speaking in Faith

We are in a season of decrees and declarations. We do not cower in private; we speak with authority in public. If you are watching or reading this, you have been given a choice. Use your mouth. Speak to the circumstances around you. The Scripture says whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven, whatever you loose on earth is loosed in heaven. This is not passive theology. It is active kingdom labor and it's an order.

Speak against unjust decisions. Pray for judges, lawmakers, and cities and decree for consequence upon those who uphold unrighteousness.  Stand in faith for your family, your community, and your country. Our words matter. Our obedience matters. The angels are listening.

A Call To Rise: Who Will Move First?

Who among you will step forward? Who will go pray for the sick today? Who will trust God with the audacious ask? Who will be the next to do an exploit? I ask you again: stop the fear and only believe. Start where you are. Move in the small and God will grow you into the extraordinary.

Everything Jesus did is recorded so that we might have confidence and be encouraged. He is no respecter of persons. What was done for Peter and John and the disciples can be done by you. Faith is a choice. Take it. Use it. Rise up.

We are entering a season of higher authority and assignment. The shaking is real, but it is the shaking of a sovereign God clearing the stage for a new move. Be bold, be courageous, and act. The Lord said, it is up to you to obey His command to fear not. He has provided everything you need. Now GO!

Who will be the one to start? Who will say, "Lord, here I am; send me?" The harvest is plentiful and the laborers are ready. If you are ready to be used, begin today. Bind, loose, heal, and raise. Take small steps of faith and watch God take you from strength to strength and from glory to glory.
