Money Fo Nuffin (1969)

Rare and oddly specific 60's soul funk single "Money Fo Nuffin" by Rufus Taylor, son of infamous 'welfare queen' Linda Taylor. Rufus wrote this song about his delivery driver job at the very first Crazy Eddie's electronics store in NY in 1969. The lyrics recall living through dire times when Rufus spent a whole summer stealing and reselling luxury items like microwave ovens just to be able to afford food and menthols.
