Psalm 83 Prophetic Word

Psalm 83 is a Prophetic depiction of conflicts involving Israel and its neighboring nations. This Prophetic Prayer seems to be a clear pattern of Evil's opposition to Yehoshua and His Covenant with His Chosen People; Israel.

This Prophetic Prayer of Asaph has manifested several times historically. Then came to modern memory at the Rebirth of Israel on May 15, 1948. At the moment of resurrection, many Nations opposed it immediately. Then again, in the Six-Day War in 1967, and more recently in conflicts involving Hezbollah and Hamas in 2006. Then once again, October 7, 2023, Israel was struck by horrific, brutal terrorist attacks as Hamas massacred Israeli civilians.
The same alliances and hostilities mentioned in the Psalm now reflect current geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. This recurring pattern of incursions is about to erupt again, as we can see and hear in the intent mentioned in Psalm 83:4 "Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!" is being blatantly shouted by Leaders and their followers that oppose Israel. So, keep a watchful eye on the Middle East and Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.

The ongoing conflicts, such as those involving Hamas (Gaza), Hezbollah (Lebanon), and other regional actors, can be seen as echoes of the Psalm’s themes of hostility and conspiracy against Israel. However, interpretations vary widely. By looking at the past, we recognize that vengeance causes nothing but grief, and we can take our Righteous anger to GoD in protests and prayers, so we can request a lasting Hope. War is never good. Peace is always a viable option. War is needed to make Peace.

Psalm 83 is often interpreted as a plea for Divine intervention against enemies conspiring to destroy Israel. I feel that we are about to see a shift in the Political landscape as tensions rise, even though Peace talks continue. This will happen to Glorify the Name of GoD before all Mankind.

Here's a comprehensive list of the ancient names of the nations mentioned in Psalm 83 and their corresponding modern names:

1. Assyria - Modern-day Iraq (parts of northern Iraq)
2. Moab- Modern-day Jordan (specifically the central part of Jordan)
3. Edom - Modern-day Jordan (southern part, near Petra)
4. Nabatu Tribes- Often associated with the Nabataean Kingdom, also located in Jordan (particularly southern Jordan)
5. Armenian Tribes - Modern-day Armenia (though historically, Armenians were spread across parts of Anatolia, Turkey, and the Caucasus)
6. Hagrites - Believed to be associated with groups in the Arabian Peninsula, possibly related to Saudi Arabia.
7. Philistines/Gaza - Modern-day Gaza Strip (part of Palestine).
8. Tyre- Modern-day Lebanon (specifically the coastal city of Tyre).
9. Amalek- Historically associated with regions in the Sinai Peninsula and parts of Saudi Arabia.
10. Saudi Arabia- Represents the modern nation-state that encompasses the historical Amalekite territories.

In the context of current Middle Eastern dynamics, many find parallels between the themes of the Psalm and the ongoing geopolitical tensions, particularly the conflicts involving Israel and its neighbors. We can see Psalm 83 is Active now!! Pray for Peace.🙏♥️🔥♥️🙏
