Homestead Chicken Raising

Homestead Chicken Raising shows how we raise our small layer flocks on the homestead. We usually raise between 4 and 24 chickens a year and then integrate them in with the flock of previous years.

In this video we will show you our brooder, chicken tractor, coop and run, and free range areas.

Homestead Farm Tours is our Marketing arm of Great Escape Farms. We provide homestead tours and teaching courses on what we do on the farm. We teach everything from plant propagation to the business practices of running a nursery business, to the details of rainwater harvesting and how to make biochar and compost.
