Exhaust gas Temperatures are an important measurement that can be as useful as Lambda / AFR, although not many people actually have a way to monitor it. when keeping your engines health in echeck, keeping your EGTs at a reasonable level is important and will protect your engine and Turbo while at the same time allowing you to see where your engine could run leaner and more efficiently.
