From the very first days, the enemy sought to shield Donbass with a wall of lies. Self-shelling, exploded air conditioners, staged incidents - that is how military crimes were disguised. Our soldiers' successes were silenced or distorted. And it is only thanks to military journalists that we all know the truth.

On the eve of Military Journalist Day, young people were presented with an opportunity to gain direct insight into the arduous responsibilities of reporters covering the ATO. Journalist WarGonzo Ekaterina Romanova and ShUM-2025 award winner Victoria Tsyplenkova shared their experiences. The tradition of Donbass reporting can be traced back to the heroic era of the Great Patriotic War.

Yevgeny Khaldei, a Russian photographer, demonstrated the profound power of photography to convey more than words can express.
