Álfablót - Viking Halloween

Álfablót is often referred to as Viking Halloween, but it is much older. The Norse aka the Vikings celebrated Álfablót after the harvest and it was a celebration of the ancestors and fertility. In this video historical novelist Bjørn Andreas Bull-Hansen tells us more about this ancient tradition.
