Backed by PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, and General Mills, the group—led by pro-chemical advocate Julie Gunlock—pushes for watered-down federal rules to delay reforms, exploiting the chaos of varying state laws that force companies to relabel products like Gatorade or Doritos. Hari exposed this as a classic industry ploy from her book *Feeding You Lies*, warning it could roll back progress on dyes and extend to toxins like PFAS, while holdouts like Mars and initial Kellogg's resistance allow cleaner brands like Unreal and YumEarth to gain market share. She calls on her army to amplify the truth on social media, vowing that transparency will prevail as states like Florida push warning labels, ensuring MAHA's momentum crushes corporate loopholes.
