Rejoice in the Lord Always
---------------------------
In Philippians 4, Paul opens the final chapter by urging the Philippians to stand firm and to rejoice in the Lord. He encourages them to be gentle, not to be anxious, but in every situation, through prayer and petition, to present their requests to God. He speaks of learning the secret of contentment in any circumstance through Christ who strengthens him. He thanks the Philippians for their gifts and support, and ends the letter with greetings and a benediction of grace.

Scripture of the Day
--------------------
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Matthew 7:24-25
