Reopening My Etsy Shop 🇬🇧 | Sorting Fabric Offcuts for My Sustainable Small Business (Episode 1)

Welcome back! This is Episode 1 of my Etsy Series — and it’s a little different from my usual food & lifestyle vlogs. 🧵

In this video, I’m reopening my Etsy shop (https://maudcreationsuk.etsy.com) and starting by sorting through a huge bag of designer fabric offcuts I bought from a local interior decorator. These scraps were headed for landfill, but I’m giving them a new life by turning them into beautiful handmade fabric doorstops.

Step 1: Sorting the fabrics by colour 🌈
Step 2: Deep diving into each pile — trimming, inspecting, and grouping like fabrics together.

If you love textiles, colour, or sustainable creativity, this video will make your heart happy.
But if you’re here for my regular What I Eat / UK Lifestyle content — this one’s a bit different (Episode 2 will go into the Etsy admin and listing process 💻).

🪡 Why I Do This:
Every offcut saved = less fabric waste. And I get to make unique one-of-a-kind doorstops in every texture, pattern, and shade imaginable.
