James Gunn May Be Safe at DC | Paramount Wants to Keep Creative Teams

There have been a lot of rumors that James Gunn will be out as the head of DC following the sale of Warner Bros. Discovery, but maybe things are not over yet.

It is now being reported that Paramount will keep various create teams at Warner Bros. if they do purchase the company. This isn’t to say they will keep all of them, but that probably is at least a little comforting to James Gunn fans. Especially since it wouldn’t be unusual from Paramount executives to come in and replace the various heads with their own people. James Gunn has recently come across as someone expecting to get fired with is why he doesn’t have a lot of projects for his DCU on the horizon. Maybe Paramount only intends to keep James Gunn on while he’s working on his current projects before getting rid of him.
