The Day the World Forgot God’s Time | The Truth About the Sabbath

Before clocks, before calendars, before Rome and religion —
God Himself created time.
Six days of work.
One day of rest.
A covenant between the Creator and creation itself.

“And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done,
and He rested on the seventh day and sanctified it.” — Genesis 2:2–3

But as kingdoms rose, they rewrote time.
Rome named days after its gods —
Sunday for the Sun, Monday for the Moon, Saturday for Saturn.
The Sabbath became buried beneath empire and tradition.
Yet through all the centuries, God’s day never changed.

Even Jesus kept the seventh day holy.
He rested in the tomb on that day — and rose on the first —
not to change it, but to seal redemption as He once sealed creation.

“The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.” — Mark 2:27

Today, many have forgotten God’s time.
But the Bible foretold it:

“He shall think to change times and law.” — Daniel 7:25

Still, the Creator’s rhythm beats on.
Each Sabbath is a sign — a reminder that we are not self-made,
but shaped by His hand and redeemed by His Son.

“Worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.” — Revelation 14:7

The world may forget God’s time…
but God’s time will never forget His people. 🌿
