Feeding South Florida distributes food, seeks donations for furloughed federal workers

Feeding South Florida is stepping up to help federal workers affected by the ongoing government shutdown. On Tuesday, the food bank hosted a distribution event at an Embassy Suites in West Palm Beach. Volunteers gave out fresh fruit, vegetables, protein, and non-perishable food to furloughed federal workers.
