Koulu loppuu ja kesä on edessä. Allu suunnittelee kesälomaa pitsanpaistajana Tukholmassa, mutta äiti on luvannut Allun sukulaisten tilalle Torvenkylään. Allu alistuu kohtaloonsa ja matkustaa junttilaan heinätöihin. Torvenkylä herää kuitenkin henkiin, kun Allu kohtaa Kertun. Yhteen kesään mahtuu monta tarinaa, eikä lopulta mikään ole kuin ennen.
