Episode Description
When Martin learns that his absolute favorite paranormal author (think: a quirky, bearded Stephen King type) is coming to the town of Torrington for a book signing, he’s totally psyched! In fact, when Martin meets his literary idol, he’s so inspired, that he decides to take up horror writing himself. Using an old manual typewriter that his favorite author gives him (after Martin openly admires it), Martin gets down to it... and soon he’s churning out the scary stories at lightening speed. Only problem is, whatever fiction he writes seems to be coming true! However, by the time Martin realizes what’s happening, it’s too late – monsters are wrecking havoc everywhere (attacking the town; the school; his friends!). When Martin seeks out his favorite author to find out what’s causing the creepy chaos, he learns that the typewriter is both a blessing and a curse – it helps whoever owns it (now Martin) write amazing stories... unfortunately, they all come to fruition! In the end, Martin and the author must team up to write a clever conclusion to this real-life horror story. In a b-story, Diana finds herself with a case of writer’s block – and very jealous of Martin’s newfound literary prowess.
