A dated documentary into the oft-overlooked risk of Satanic cults and demonic activity for police and law enforcement officers. Satanic cults are often small, secretive covens or individuals practicing ritual magick that includes the invocation of Satan, Lucifer, and many other infernal entities. This is done to attain fame, riches, gnosis (hidden knowledge), or transformation through darkness—similar to Left-Hand Path traditions. Members typically use rituals, summoning, and offerings along with the study of grimoires, pacts, initiations, and symbolism. Because “Satanic cults” cover a wide spectrum, from organized and legalized movements protected by law to underground criminal networks using occult imagery as a cover for coercion, trafficking, or ritual violence. Law enforcement agencies deal with these cases very differently depending on the type of group.
