How To RESET Microsoft Account Password Or Pin Locally!

Today we are looking at a brute force method to convert a Microsoft Account to a Local account for people that have lost their Microsoft Account password or the PIN and have no method of retrieving it via the usual methods.

Warning, you should try and backup the machine before attempting this as a precaution. If your Computer is using Onedrive or other cloud services and those are not backed up or syncronised with the machine, you can lose files or data.

We will be using the Hirens Boot CD PE

And using RUFUS to covert the ISO image to a bootable USB drive, the drive needs to be about 4GB or larger.

Again this is a last resort and can still cause some issues due to the conversion from a online account to a local one and you may be asked to sign in to your microsoft services, or you may get a option to sign out of all Microsoft services and apps, it seems to differ between machines so youre mileage may vary.
