Peak green-Left gaslighting

The peak of leftism is to intentionally make a country (energy) poor and then try to have that country buy more expensive solar panels from your communist Chinese friends as a solution to the energy shortage your own policies created in the first place.

That has been the status in Ecuador for the last two years. The politics to attempt to change this is also mostly blocked through an ideologically-designed system of approving/rejecting candidates for office.
