speaking w/ God the Father, my Maker, my King (Gen 3:8)

God spoke the worlds into existence (Gen 1:1).
Not only does He know each star by name, He knows your name.
God knows the thoughts He thinks of me — plans to give me a hope and a future (Jer 29:11).

But there’s a problem. There’s a separation. And that is our sin.

The Bible says that in the fullness of time, God sent the Lord Jesus Christ to die for my sins as a sin offering — to restore that Father - child relationship that He originally intended (Gal 4:4).

Out of the abundance of our hearts, the mouth speaks (Lk 6:45). What we actually think about is who we really are (Prov 23:7). God sees all of that —

What free speech means to me: God fully restored that Father-child relationship He originally intended because of what Jesus did for me on the Cross (Eph 1:6) and therefore I can freely talk story with God as my loving Father about anything and everything (Heb 4:16).

The sin issue has been dealt with at the Cross, Jesus deserves to be preeminent in my life (Col 3:15-19).

Let’s pray right now — Father God,
I receive the free gift of salvation and forgiveness that comes through receiving the Lord Jesus Christ in my life (Rom 10:9).
I repent of my sins. Make everything pono and right with You so I can walk with you every day of my life (Isa 40:3).

Your Word guides me (Ps 119:105). Thank You for another day to praise Your Name (Ps 118:24). In Jesus’ Name I pray (Jn 14:13-14), Amen.

Friends, if you prayed that prayer, you can be assured that God heard that prayer, your name in the Book of life (Rev 20:15),
His blood covers a multitude of sins (1 Pt 4:8). Because God’s character is true, His Word is true (Rev 19:11). God bless you (Jn 3:16).
