The Anti-Starmer, Anti-Farage Electoral Front is the Only Way

The path to victory must be strategic.

We have consistently called for an electoral front. We don't need to merge our parties or agree on every political viewpoint. We need a limited programme of four or five key points we can all unite behind.

We must make an electoral pact. You stand here, we stand there. In Rochdale, where we are demonstrably popular—having won the parliamentary seat and coming a strong second in the general election—we will stand. In other areas, we should stand aside for the Greens, for Corbyn, for Plaid Cymru, for the SNP.

The number one task is to defeat Keir Starmer and Labour. The number two task is to stop the racist tsunami of Nigel Farage and the Reform Party.

Everyone who agrees with these two priorities has no justification for refusing to get together. By dividing, we allow Starmer back, or something even worse.

We can scupper them both, but only if we act with our heads.
