A HUGE pain point for marketers and sales folks alike is there isn't a deep enough understanding of the market they're trying to win over.

Marketing wants to get this information so we can communicate better, but I know at a lot of organisations it feels like those relationships are gatekept by sales

Is that true?

Or are we as marketers not going the extra mile and offering to at least do some ride alongs or sit in on conversations

OR - shock horror - pick up the phone and join a sales call

Are we marketers not getting our hands dirty enough?

Or are we trying and sales is still rejecting us?
