Victor Davis Hanson: No Kings Protesters Preach Equality but Live in Exclusive White Communities

For all of their talk about “disparate impact and proportional representation,” the old, white No Kings protesters aren’t doing anything about making their protests more diverse.

Victor Davis Hanson explains the hypocrisy of No Kings protesters as they try showing “everybody how left-wing they are in an empty and feudal expression of caring and left-wing fetes.”

In reality, however, they aren’t mixing with the “other.” They live in white communities like Martha’s Vineyard, and they feel guilty about that, so they go out and protest to try making themselves feel better.

“The left wing, affluent, white bicoastal professional classes who show up at these anti-Tesla, No Kings rallies is just a mechanism of squaring their own discomfort. Their abstract ideology does not match how they live. If you look at how they live, they are some of the most materialistic, acquisitive, status-obsessed people in the world.”
