Day 302 – Power and Parables: Faith That Transforms — Luke 6–8 | Bible In A Year (CSB)

In these chapters, Jesus teaches what life in His Kingdom looks like—from loving enemies to building our lives on His words. He heals the sick, calms storms, and raises the dead, revealing His authority over every realm—physical, spiritual, and even death itself. Through His parables, Jesus unveils the mystery of the Kingdom, showing that true faith is more than hearing—it’s obedience that bears fruit.

Questions:
1. Jesus contrasts those who hear His words but don’t act on them with those who build their lives on His teaching. What does that look like practically in your own walk with Christ?

2. The disciples’ fear during the storm revealed their lack of faith. How does this moment mirror the ways we sometimes doubt God’s power in our own “storms”?

3. In Luke 8, Jesus’ healing power touches people in vastly different situations—a bleeding woman, a dying child, a tormented man. What do these encounters teach us about the personal and compassionate nature of Jesus’ ministry?
